Pen elastics are available in the following colour options: turquoise, dark teal, silver grey, dark grey, pale pink or white. Please specify your choice on the order.

You can choose any three teabags from the following options: English Breakfast; Earl Grey; Organic Mint; Lemongrass & Ginger; Jasmine; Chamomile & Citrus; Berry Hibiscus; Rooibos & Orange; Chocolate & Ginger; Tropical Green; Chun Mee Organic (green tea). Please note your three tea selections on your order.

I recently discovered delightful local tea company Shibui and I've been enjoying working my way round their wide range of traditional teas and herbal infusions. I love their ethical sourcing and commitment to excluding plastics. Their tea bags are plastic free and both bag and packaging can be composted in your food waste.

I came across Chocolate Tree at our local farmers market in Edinburgh, and have sampled lots of their delicious products since! They create award winning craft chocolate based around considered and transparent trade.

I donate 10% of the profit I make on each sale to a charity, which usually changes every 6 months. Between now and the end of June 2022 contributions will be donated to the Trussell Trust, who support a nationwide network of food banks, provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

Items are wrapped in craft recycled tissue paper and washi tape. Packaging is usually paper/ card but occasionally includes recycled bubblewrap etc.

Please let me know if you wish me to send the item directly to a recipient and include a gift note.

    • Getting started - my adventures in yarn journey

Finding the joy in pen, paper and yarn

Turquoise organiser on a wooden table surrounded by wool, scissors and hook

As an enthusiastic crafter, I can see first-hand the benefit of finding time for creativity and making. And as a mum to young children, with a corporate job and trying to run a small business I also feel the struggle of fitting it into my everyday routine.

Prompted by loosing track of my knitting and crochet projects too many times while I was on maternity leave, I searched for a way of keeping organised so I could focus my time on the making rather than the admin. After searching around and failing to find what I needed, and thinking that others surely face similar challenges, I decided to create my own notebook to help me keep on track.

Fast forward a few years, and I have slowly established a beautiful, inspiring and practical range of stationery for yarn lovers. Designed by a yarn lover for a yarn lover, every element has been carefully crafted and tailored for people who crochet, knit, design, dye or spin. By creating practical tools that are a pleasure to use, I hope to encourage makers to see the benefits of being better organised, as well as the simple joy of putting pen to paper.

Open organiser with handwritten notes and pens

Here’s some of what you’ll find inside the organisers:

      • Lots of space to record your project notes, plans of what you plan to work on next or future design ideas.
      • Sections to attach yarn samples and reminders, and removable labels for tension squares
      • Pages to record to do lists, monthly reminders and goals, wish lists of yarns, patterns or accessories, your achievements, reminders of things you want to check out, and your goals
      • Plenty of plastic pockets for storing useful bits and pieces, anything from yarn bands, to yarn festival acquisitions!

I’ve tried to combine useful and practical features with simple, inspiring and adaptable design.

Pop straight to the shop if you'd like to browse through the products available, or you can read more about using the organiser in this blog post.
